Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you service?
We provide services in Madison, Middleton, Waunakee, Shorewood Hills, Maple Bluff, Monona, Fitchburg, and Verona.  Services provided outside of of our primary service area may require an additional charge for mileage.

How often do you provide service?
Most clients elect to receive service weekly.  However, we are happy to provide service more frequently or less frequently depending on your needs.  Prices for weekly and one time service are listed on our website.  Please contact us for a quote if you wish to receive more or less frequent service.

Are you insured?
Yes.  Our commercial general liability coverage is administered by RPS Scobie Group and underwritten by Evanston Insurance Company.

Do you work during the winter?
Yes. We work whenever the weather allows us to.  Certain weather, especially heavy snow, may require services to be postponed by as much as a week.  In this event, the normal fees will apply since the same amount of cleanup is required.  If snow stays on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow, we will do regular clean ups to minimize any accumulation of pet waste.  Some customers may prefer to put service on hold for the cold months.  We are happy to accommodate.  However, there will be an extra charge for the first spring cleanup.

How do I pay?
Most clients receiving regular services set up an automated monthly payment using a credit or debit card.  Some clients prefer to be invoiced.  Payment is due by the 1st of the month in order to ensure service is not interrupted.  Payment is due at the time of service for one time service and new clients.  We accept cash, check, Paypal, and most major credit cards.

Are there any contracts to sign?
No.  Service can be started with just a phone call or email.  You can cancel service at any time.  We just ask you to give us 24 hours’ notice.  We recommend that you cancel service at the end of the month as refunds will not be granted.  For certain special offers there are commitments to duration of service.

How do you guarantee satisfaction?
If you let us know you’re not happy with our service we will re-visit your property within 24 hours.  We ask you to notify us immediately if you are unhappy so that we can assess the situation properly. The only caveat to our guarantee is if the yard is full of leaves or the grass is very long.  Please remember in order to remove the waste we must be able to see it.

Do I need to be home?
Prior to providing regular yard service we would like to meet you and your pets. We find that this can help your dog(s) feel more at ease when we enter their yard.  After the first visit, there is no need for you to be home.  If you do have a locked gate, please be sure it is unlocked on your service day.

Can my dog be in the yard while you're scooping?
In most cases, yes. We love dogs and get along well with them. But to ensure the safety of all parties involved we request that if your dog is not good with strangers, please restrain or confine it on service days.

What do you do with the dog waste?
We don’t believe in leaving the dog waste in your garbage. We take the waste with us and properly dispose of it. We think that this is the best solution for our customers and ensures you don’t have any issues with bad odors or city ordinance violations.
